Let’s celebrate two of our brothers from Idi-Araba who are doing our great Alma-mater proud in Nigeria and in the Diaspora. Come with me.

Dr. Omotayo Abimbola Ojo – He is a highly experienced consultant neurologist affiliated to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) with interests in micro neurosurgery and complex spine. 1999/2000 Set of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. In 2013, he won the Young Neurosurgeon Award at the World Neurosurgeon Societies.

He is celebrated widely for saving many Nigerians from brain aneurysm (tumors) including popular Nigerian influencer and doctor, Dr. Chinonso Egemba (Aproko Doctor) who showered encomiums on him for performing a successful surgery on him, thus saving him from excessive bleeding in the brain that could have led to death.

Dr. Uzoma Ben Gbulie – A 2000-MBBS Alumnus of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos is a renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the United States of America. Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.) – Inducted – October 2009; Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Gbulie was a lead Plastic Surgeon in separation of a set of conjoined twins in Memphis, USA in 2016. He currently runs POSH – a leading plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery organisation based in Texas with 5-star ratings from clients.
