The former governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel preached to the need for UNILAG Engineering faculty to sustain the legacy of producing renown and greater engineers within and outside the shores of the country.
Speaking at the UNILAG Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association 2022 luncheon of a N500m development fund, titled, ‘A better UNILAG Faculty of Engineering for all generations,’ Daniel, who was the chairman of the occasion, said there is need to sustain a good legacy for the coming generation.
“We do have a legacy that needs to be sustained when we remembered what made us what we are and see the resources and capacities abroad. I cannot but subscribe to the fact that we need to improve and produce better engineers,” he remarked while reminiscing about his experience at the faculty as an under graduate.
