Wole Ogunsanya and Engr. (Dr) David Ige — on their recent national appointments, which further affirm their dedication, excellence, and leadership in Nigeria’s energy sector.We celebrate Engr. Wole Ogunsanya (Class of 1987) on his appointment by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a Member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), representing the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN). Engr. Ogunsanya’s professional journey, marked by vision and integrity, continues to bring pride to our association and the engineering profession at large. His appointment is not only a personal achievement but also a testimony to the quality of graduates produced by our great Faculty.We also extend our profound congratulations to Engr. (Dr) David Ige (also Class of 1987) on his recent appointment as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited. Engr. (Dr) Ige’s exceptional career trajectory and strategic leadership continue to inspire generations of engineers. His inclusion on the NNPC Board is a reflection of the immense value he brings to Nigeria’s energy transformation and national development.These prestigious appointments of two of our own are a source of great pride to the UNILAGFEAA community.
