(High Chief) Oludayo Oluyemi, FNSE — a distinguished alumnus, seasoned professional, and revered elder of the engineering fraternity — on his birthday.

A Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and Past Chairman of the NSE Lagos Branch, Engr. Oluyemi stands tall among the pillars of the profession. His career has been marked by technical excellence, visionary leadership, and an unwavering commitment to mentoring younger engineers.

As Principal Partner at Hancock Ogundiya & Partners Ltd, an ISO-certified consulting engineering firm, Engr. Oluyemi has contributed immensely to Nigeria’s infrastructural and transportation development. He has also served as Past National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Highway and Transportation Engineers (NIHTE), where his advocacy helped shape policy and promote engineering standards nationwide.

Beyond professional service, Engr. Oluyemi exemplifies the UNILAG spirit of giving back. In a remarkable gesture of alumni generosity, he donated a borehole facility to the Faculty of Engineering, ensuring a sustainable water source for staff and students — a project that underscores his practical approach to solving real-world needs.
