April 6, 2023 By feaaadmin In Uncategorized Engr. Dideolu Falobi, FNSE, the Chairman of the UNILAG Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association, has appealed to alumni who are not yet members of the association to join in the pursuit of the faculty’s advancement and progress. He made this plea while delivering the Chairman’s executive report at the AGM of the UNILAG Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association on March 30, 2023, at the Prof. Rahman Adisa Bello lecture theatre. Engr. Dideolu welcomed members and guests to the AGM and addressed issues relevant to the association’s progress. He highlighted the association’s accomplishments since it began on March 14, 2017, under the leadership of Engr. Titi Omo-Ettu, up to the present executive. Engr. Dideolu expressed appreciation to individuals and sets whose support and efforts contributed to the association’s achievements. These individuals include His Excellency Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, Her Excellency Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Engr. Kolawole Ogunsanya, Engr. Kunle Ogunbayo, Engr. Ige, Professor Ikpomwosa, Engr. Aramide Adeyoye, Engr. Bimbo Akinajo, Engr. Yetunde Holloway, Engr. Ayo Ogunnoiki, and Engr. (Dr.) Lawrence Osoba. The sets mentioned were the 1985 and 1987 sets. Engr. Dideolu encouraged alumni who are not yet members to join the association and support its progress. He emphasized the importance of alumni involvement in supporting the development of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Lagos. He noted that the faculty has been producing graduates since 1965, but UNILAGFEAA’s voluntary registered members currently stand at just over 400, with less than 20% contributing financially. He urged all graduates of the faculty to increase the membership list and become financially involved with the alumni association. The AGM and election of UNILAGFEAA were held on March 30, 2023, and Engr. Dideolu Falobi, FNSE, led the previous executive of the association. He has been re-elected to lead the newly inaugurated executive of the association for another two years due to his commitment to the association’s progress. Share this content: ← → x ×
