May 26, 2022 By feaaadmin In Uncategorized Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu solicited for an improvement of infrastructure and quality education for the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lagos for sustaining existing legacy of the faculty and in-turn the institution. Governor Sanwo-Olu who is an alumnus of the faculty made the clarion call while speaking at the UNILAG Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association 2022 luncheon of a N500m development fund, titled, ‘A better UNILAG Faculty of Engineering for all generations,’ Taking advantage of the moment to make information available to the public on ongoing transformational activities of the Lagos State Government specifically in the area of rail transportation, Sanwo-Olu said, “In the last three years, in Lagos, it is about building infrastructure that can outlive the government of the day. Aside from the opportunities provided to Lagosians by these activities, the Governor also remarked on the additional opportunities for Engineering students in the state, providing them with physical encounter with Engineering, and allowing them experience the cross lines in infrastructural development from their interaction with construction experts. As part of the team that started the transformation project in the state’s rail sector, Sanwo-Olu re-emphasize the commitment of his administration to deliver the blue line, yellow line and redlines. “From engineering to transportation and education, it’s about ensuring that we make this place a lot better than we met it.” he remarked.
