This landmark initiative reflects not only the company’s technical heritage but its unwavering dedication to nurturing the next generation of engineers. The event, held at the company’s corporate headquarters in Maryland, Lagos, brought together students from three leading tertiary institutions: the University of Lagos, Lagos State University, and Lagos State University of Science and Technology. It featured a blend of technical immersion, safety consciousness, and leadership training. UNILAGFEAA is proud to spotlight this celebration, particularly for its strong alumni connections. Kresta Laurel was founded in 1990 by Engr. (Senator) Otunba Gbenga Daniel, a distinguished 1979 graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lagos. Today, the company continues to flourish under the stewardship of another outstanding alumnus, Engr. Dideolu Falobi, FNSE, the Managing Director of Kresta Laurel and immediate past Chairman of UNILAGFEAA. In his address, Engr. Falobi offered students a compelling historical account of KLL’s evolution and reaffirmed the company’s mission to bridge the gap between theory and industrial practice: “For 35 years, Kresta Laurel has been at the forefront of engineering excellence in Nigeria. This initiative represents our dedication to nurturing young talent and equipping them with practical skills to thrive in the real world.” Highlights of the Training Programme: Leadership Training: Delivered by former Commissioner Mr. Kehinde Sogunle.
