May 26, 2022 By feaaadmin In Uncategorized The chairman UNILAG Faculty of Engineering Alumni association Engr Dideolu Falobi made the suggestion at the Alumni Association 2022 luncheon of a N500m development fund, titled, ‘A better UNILAG Faculty of Engineering for all generations,’ Dideolu explained that the challenges undermining the efforts of the academicians running the affairs of the faculty to continue to produce quality Engineering graduates became apparent as soon as the faculty alumni association was founded in 2017. The alumni association has since embarked on various projects in the faculty to ascertain that the practice of engineering does not end with those currently running the industry. The luncheon of N500m development fund is part of special project embarked upon by the association to ensure that the faculty will continue to produce Engineering graduates in deed and in truth by improving on its quality of knowledge transfer. This would assist in turning around the existing challenges faced by the faculty and complement the efforts of academicians in the faculty for an improved leaning environment. He said, “Today’s event is part of the efforts of the current executive to ensure that we leave the faculty better than our executive met it. “Whatever is contributed at the luncheon can never be too much for the value that would be derived” he charged further. Engr Dideolu then advocated for Nigerian Universities to charge the right tuition fees and laud the government to ensure citizens can afford to attend University educations by establishing a loan schemes for intending students so that graduates can be what they are called Share this content: ← → x ×
